Synex Server 13 R5 culminates weeks of intensive development with the incorporation of software RAID (mdadm) for ext4 and XFS, new storage options including standalone LVM, and critical security fixes in the synex-control firewall module.

Synex semi-rolling: Synex Package Manager as the software hub, updated images, and a lighter base
The new Synex semi-rolling images include Synex Package Manager as the central tool for managing updates, packages, repositories, and Flatpak across all desktop editions. This update also refreshes the system base on Debian testing, updates the main desktop environments, and simplifies the ISO composition by removing external software managers.

Synex 13 u8: NVIDIA improvements, simpler recovery from the live environment, and reduced ISO size
Synex 13 u8 introduces an important update to the NVIDIA helper, adds synex-chroot as a tool to simplify recovery tasks from the live environment, and significantly reduces the size of the ISO images by removing the rescue mode inherited from the Debian Installer.

Synex semi-rolling: GNOME and XFCE editions available, updated images
The GNOME and XFCE editions join the Synex semi-rolling line, completing the three desktop variants planned for this branch. The KDE Plasma image is updated with the latest environment version available in the Debian testing repositories.

Synex Server 13 R4: enterprise identity management with FreeIPA
Synex Server 13 R4 introduces the FreeIPA module in ServerHub, providing centralized identity management capabilities through Kerberos, LDAP, integrated DNS, and certificate authority. synex-control is also updated with a behavior correction in the firewall management module.

Synex 13 u7: complete CJK support and advanced partitioning in the live environment
Synex 13 u7 introduces stable support for Asian languages (Japanese, Chinese, Korean) in five desktop editions and adds KDE Partition Manager to the live environment of all editions to facilitate complex storage configurations prior to installation.

Synex 13 devel: CJK support extended to all desktop editions
Continuing the development of Asian language input support, we are extending coverage to all Synex 13 desktop editions. The previous devel build included support only for KDE; this update brings support to KDE, XFCE, MATE and LXDE through fcitx5, and to GNOME through ibus.
