Synex 13 u13: GRUB 2.14, installer encryption improvements, and a complete image refresh
Synex 13 u13 introduces a complete GRUB 2.14 backport, enabling LUKS2 installations with Argon2id, /boot inside the encrypted system, and Secure Boot support. The update also revises the Calamares integration, reorganizes the common base across the different editions, completely refreshes the IceWM edition, introduces Synex Package Manager 1.4.0 and Synex Connections 0.2.0, and updates COSMIC to version 1.8.0.
Synex 13 Immutable Alpha 1: Btrfs generations, transactional updates, and a new system model
Synex 13 Immutable Alpha 1 is a new Synex edition built around Btrfs generations and transactional updates. The active system remains read-only while APT prepares changes on an independent generation, which is published only after dpkg, kernel, initramfs, and GRUB have been validated.
Synex Semi-rolling 26.09.16: Synex Connections, COSMIC 1.8.0 and a more consistent base across editions
The new Synex Semi-rolling images introduce Synex Connections, a new application for managing SSH connections from the desktop, update the COSMIC edition to version 1.8.0, and include the latest version of Synex Package Manager.
Synex 13 u12: Synex Snapshots 0.5.0 with ZFS support, recovery from GRUB and installer changes
Synex 13 u12 incorporates Synex Snapshots 0.5.0, with independent implementations for Btrfs and ZFS, automation and recovery from the boot loader. It also adds grub-btrfs and grub-zfs to the repositories, an integration package for ZFSBootMenu, and changes to the installer’s partitioning scheme. The images are available in the eight desktop editions.

The Synex ISO images are now also available from the project’s own infrastructure, at repo.synex.ar/iso/. The new mirror publishes the latest version of each branch along with its checksums. SourceForge remains the primary mirror and keeps the version history of the stable branch.
Synex Semi-rolling 26.08.17: COSMIC 1.5.0, Btrfs snapshot management and MBR boot fix
The new Synex Semi-rolling images update the COSMIC edition to version 1.5.0 and incorporate synex-snapshots, a graphical tool for snapshot management on Btrfs systems. The installer also fixes installation on machines with BIOS/MBR boot. The images are available in the KDE Plasma, GNOME, XFCE and COSMIC editions.
Synex Server 13 R7: multi-VDEV configurations for RAIDZ, data preservation in ServerHub and new modules
Synex Server 13 R7 incorporates support for multi-VDEV configurations in RAIDZ topologies, with assisted layout selection and automatic calculation of usable capacity. In ServerHub, it introduces a unified data preservation criterion for module uninstallation and reinstallation, and expands the catalog with five additions. synex-control unifies its navigation model across all modules.

Synex 13 u11 is an update that incorporates package reinstallation support in Synex Package Manager, updates the COSMIC edition to version 1.3.0, and brings the system base up to date with the latest Debian Trixie updates.
